Role
Follow the proper receiving procedures set and ensure that all direct issue items are delivered to the kitchen and other departments in a timely manner.
Inspect and verify that all goods received have been properly ordered and conform to the prescribed quantity as stated in the purchase order.
Ensure that all goods received or rejected are properly documented.
Update all daily receiving of goods in the system and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
Ensure that all the receiving documents are properly filed.
To maintain an adequate inventory level so that the products are not out of stock between the deliveries.
Ensure there is no excessive orders in order to minimize investment in inventory.
To keep accurate records of all transactions in the inventory items. Ensure that all incoming stock through purchases are properly added into the inventory and any outgoing stocks issued to departments are deducted from the inventory.
Ensure that all issuing of store items are supported by a requisition form from user department. Update all store issues in the system accordingly.
Arrange and number all items in the storeroom clearly and in a neat manner.
Understand and have knowledge of the storeroom products so that it is possible to determine each product stock level.
Ensure that the storeroom areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic state at all times.
Requirements
- verbal and written proficiency in Japanese and English
- Receiving/Storeroom knowledge
- Knowledge of hotel operations and systems
- minimum 1 year work experience in a similar position
- computer knowledge, ability to work long hours
- Able to follow procedures and ensure compliance
