JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
The Catering Coordinator works closely with the Director of Events and the Director of Banquets to ensure that each event is executed with the highest standards of service and class.
Primary Functions:
- Provides guest tours and offers suggestions in effort to promote the Club's facilities for the occasion being planned
- Communicates and works effectively with the Catering department to ensure consistent service
- Assists members in making reservations for special functions and maintains accurate records of these reservations
- Helps members plan special events including menus, entertainment, a theme, decorations and other aspects
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull food trays/carts, chairs, and tables to 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifying Experience and Education:
- Experience in event planning at a hospitality venue required
- Superb customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solver, team player and leadership skills
- Flexible with varying schedules to reflect business needs
- Hours include working weekends and special member events as deemed necessary
- Must be detail oriented, communicate efficiently and effectively and work under pressure
