Description
The organisation is standardising data and supporting a major Microsoft-based business-systems transformation. You will help turn inconsistent source data and varied local requirements into clear definitions, reliable mappings, practical validation rules and usable master-data standards.
You will work with country stakeholders, data collectors, PMOs and technical teams to move work from investigation through to completion. The role is hands-on and requires sound judgement: knowing when to research further, when to challenge an approach, when to involve the right stakeholder and when to escalate a material risk.
The initial focus is migration support. Over time, the role broadens into master data governance, data quality management and continuous improvement.
Profile for Success
- Demonstrated experience analysing, preparing, cleansing, validating or governing business data in a professional environment.
- Evidence of contributing to a data migration, ERP implementation, master-data, data-quality, business-analysis or related transformation initiative.
- Practical experience gathering and documenting requirements, investigating source data and converting ambiguity into clear rules or decisions.
- Strong Microsoft Excel capability and the ability to interrogate and reconcile data carefully.
- Strong research discipline: able to identify reliable government, tax, company-register or other authoritative sources and explain the conclusion reached.
- Comfortable engaging stakeholders across countries, functions and levels of data maturity.
- Evidence of ownership, curiosity, initiative, constructive challenge, prioritisation and sound escalation judgement.
- Completed bachelor’s degree in any field. If the degree is not data-related, meaningful assessed data education or training is required.
- Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience is preferred; candidates from data analysis, business analysis, data quality, data migration or adjacent disciplines are in scope.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, SQL, basic Python, Dataverse, Power Platform, Fabric, Power BI, Power Query or SharePoint exposure is useful. Confirm the D365 hard-screen calibration before publishing.
