Product Lifecycle Management Transformation Analyst or Consultant
Our Engineering & R&D Digitization team helps organizations modernize product development and engineering operations through Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Digital Thread, Digital Twin, Product Data Management, Engineering Master Data, and integrated Bill of Materials (BOM) solutions. We support clients across Manufacturing, Industrial Equipment, Aerospace, Automotive, High Tech, Consumer Goods, Life Sciences, and Process Industries.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Drive Engineering and R&D Transformation programs focused on innovation, digital enablement, and process modernization.
• Support and deliver PLM Enablement initiatives across complex engineering environments.
• Develop capabilities and assets in Product Lifecycle Management, Integrated BOM, Engineering Master Data Management, Digital Twin, and Digital Thread.
• Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to define future-state operating models and engineering processes.
• Design and optimize product development processes including Product Design, Part Management, Bill of Materials, Engineering Change Management, Product Structures, Document Management, Product Testing, Prototyping, and Supplier Collaboration.
• Contribute to functional solutioning, transformation roadmaps, and engineering process improvements.
• Support proposal development, RFP responses, project estimations, and work breakdown activities.
• Partner with client leadership teams to enable digital transformation across Engineering and R&D organizations.
• Contribute to practice growth through knowledge development, training, coaching, and innovation initiatives.

Preferred Experience:

• For Analyst +3 years of experience in Engineering Transformation, Product Development, Product Data Management, or PLM-related consulting engagements.
• For Consultant +5 years of experience in Engineering Transformation, Product Development, Product Data Management, or PLM-related consulting engagements.
• Experience delivering mid-to-large-scale transformation programs involving multiple enterprise systems.
• Hands-on experience in PLM, Engineering Excellence, Process Transformation, Functional Solutioning, Digital Transformation, or Data Governance initiatives.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault ENOVIA, PTC Windchill, ARAS, or SAP PLM.
• Strong understanding of Product Data Management, Engineering Data Management, and Digital Thread concepts.
• Experience working with multi-level and integrated Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Knowledge of Digital Twin, Engineering Orchestration, Product Compliance, and emerging PLM technologies.
• Exposure to Engineering Master Data Management and Product Data governance frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Advanced English level.
• MBA or postgraduate studies are desirable.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multicultural and global teams.

Additional Skills and Capabilities:

• Understanding of PLM integrations with ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies including Azure and AWS.
• Experience in Product Data Migration, Data Cleansing, and Data Governance activities.
• Understanding of AI-enabled Engineering capabilities and Generative AI applications in Product Development and Engineering Transformation.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and apply them in complex transformation environments.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills using PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and similar tools.
