Title:
Lead EngineerKBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.
We have opportunities with Integrated Solutions International Team which delivers high-end engineering services including front-end engineering design; project and program management; and engineering, procurement and construction management.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of Instrument Specifications.
Preparation and review of Instrument Data Sheets.
Preparation and review of Material Requisitions (MR).
Conducting Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
Review of Vendor Drawings for: Field Instruments, Instrument Valves and Fire & Gas Detectors
Exposure to AVEVA E3D / PDMS.
Review of Instrumentation Modeling in E3D/PDMS.
Review of instrumentation design deliverables, including: Cable Trench Layouts, Instrument Location Layouts, Hook-up Drawings, Cable Block Diagrams and Cable Schedules
Experience as a Lead Engineer or Deputy Lead Engineer on Oil & Gas projects.
Offshore project experience preferred.
Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area.
Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies.
Under broad direction, functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company.
Preferred Qualifications Education, Experience, & Skills:
Job role contributes directly to value creation. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 15 years related experience, with average experience of 15+ years
