Description
We are looking for a passionate Lead Developer for cross-functional tech team
If’s Digital Services unit is responsible for delivering world-class digital experiences for our customers across the Nordic region. We are a development hub within our Digital Channel Solutions organisation, where modern technologies, smart design and user experience are key drivers. We continue to expand our team with motivated and talented individuals.
About the role
As a Lead Developer, you will be the technical cornerstone of the team, combining hands-on software development with technical leadership and solution ownership. You will help shape technical direction, support the team in solving complex challenges, and ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
You will work closely with developers, architects, product stakeholders, and other IT teams to analyze upcoming initiatives, refine requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions. In addition to contributing directly to development, you will play an important role in maintaining development environments, supporting deployments, monitoring production systems, and driving continuous improvements in both technology and ways of working.
Working in an agile environment, you will contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and technical decision-making while helping the team maintain a high engineering standard. You will act as a trusted technical advisor for both business and IT stakeholders, ensuring that technical solutions effectively support customer and business needs.
Using modern development practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-based technologies, you will work closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver new capabilities and continuous improvements for digital services used by almost 4 million customers across the Nordic region. This is a role where technical decisions have a direct impact on customer experience, operational reliability, and business success.
