The Opportunity: 

As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to leading radar system design and production, and supporting technology development, insertions, prototyping, and demonstrations for a mission-critical and highly visible program. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to help deliver advanced radar and sensor engineering that strengthens national security capabilities.

 

At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform defense mission operations. Our team develops and integrates next-generation radar and sensor technologies. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer with experience in radar systems engineering, system-level design, sensor software development, and the complex analysis needed to evaluate and integrate modern radar concepts, to help us design and develop radar and sensor components and systems.

 

On our team, you’ll perform radar system engineering, conduct detailed analyses, review specifications, support system integration, and carry out engineering tasks across radar and sensor projects. You’ll support technology development activities, early prototypes, and program demonstrations that drive mission-critical performance and program advancement. You’ll impact defense and intelligence missions by delivering high-performance radar capabilities that improve situational awareness, system reliability, and overall mission readiness. You Have:

• Knowledge of practices and principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications, and perform system integration
• Ability to perform detailed complex calculations
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics and 4+ years of experience in the DoD and radar systems, OR Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics and 2+ years of experience in the DoD and radar systems

 

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Navy radars

 

Clearance: 
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
