Role Description

PMO role - GCB5 - Senior PMO resource with very strong background in Project Governance and day-to-day project services and reporting [Fraud Risk mgmt. experience preferred]

Role Objective Looking for a strong SVS PMO to drive end-to-end delivery for business transformation initiatives. This is a delivery-focused role (not reporting-only PMO) requiring ownership, governance, and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End SVS Delivery Activities: Manage full program lifecycle (planning → execution → closure)
• Governance & Reporting: Define and drive governance, executive dashboards, risk & issue tracking
• Business Transformation: Support large-scale banking transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes
• Data Quality: maintain accurate data in all sources
• Resource & Budget Management: Plan resources, track budgets, manage forecasts
• Change Management: Assess and manage change requests and impacts
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior stakeholders across business & IT

What We Are Looking For Candidates who can own delivery end-to-end Ability to translate program outcomes into business value Strong governance mindset (SVS PMO, not basic PMO)

Key day-day Activities as PMO: • Support the successful delivery of VS outcomes in line with agreed delivery plans • Drive inputs/outputs for Programme Increment (PI) Planning and synthesize QBR memo updates • Co-ordinate & prepare materials for key VS/SVS ceremonies. • Design & manage delivery dashboards for insightful visualisation of flow of Capabilities and Features from Idea to Done, to support decision-making. • Ensure data is accurate and reporting the latest status for all the key parameters ( Features and Capabilities) • Guardian of the change governance. Help provide oversight across Global and markets • Facilitate Change control around investment planning, scope, OKRs, features/capabilities • Ensure the delivery pipeline is connected with financials and within capacity • Collect thematic learnings from retrospectives to ensure cross implementation (from a VS perspective) • Monitor & control the VS investment allocation, benefit projection & ensure they are captured in standard tooling • Manage financial guardrails, ensure controls are in place and variances are tracked • Manage resource capacity pattern • Monitor & control VS, SVS Commercialization tracking • Provide holistic view of the VS/ SVS’s financial performance and ensure those are in line with defined portfolio strategy, customer & business outcomes and OKRs • Manages Risks and Issues through appropriate tracking and involving key members of the VS/ SVS team as appropriate • Maintain continuous improvement plans to support the new Ways of Operating. • Act as Change leader or SME in case of new initiative of business, strategy change, tooling migration, etc. • Ensure compliance to HSBC Change Framework, FIM, SAFE, AGILE etc • HSBC Change Framework, Group Tools such as Clarity / Jira / Confluence / GPDM
