Purpose of the role
To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
Accountabilities
- Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
- Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
- Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
- Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
- Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

The team also has service management oversight responsibilities for centralised operational processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, effective risk management and continuous process improvement.

To be successful as a Senior Corporate Operations Analyst you must have experience with:
• Ability to analyse operational processes and complete tasks accurately and promptly.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with a particular focus on Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of operational risk, control environments and ability to identify enhancements to processes.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail when managing high volumes of work.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
• Previous experience within banking operations, including cheque clearing, payment processing or transaction services.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and wider business teams to support service delivery.
• A collaborative approach, working closely with colleagues to resolve queries and achieve team objectives.
• Self-driven and adaptable, with a desire to broaden knowledge and develop new skills.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as Risk and Controls, Change and Transformation, Business Acumen, Strategic Thinking and Digital and Technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based out of Dublin.
Entry Salary: €45,000
Upper Salary: €52,000
The entry and upper salary information above includes only annual full-time equivalent base salary and represents the typical range of pay for the role. The actual pay rate will reflect the responsibility level of the role and experience level of the individual. The entry and upper salary information does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
