TMX Manager
Position Summary:
Oversees all Team Member Experience (TMX) site-level programs and processes, including recruiting and hiring, onboarding and orientation, job skills training, engagement and retention initiatives, performance management, employment practices, benefits and salary administration, and payroll/attendance processes, to support achievement of key performance indicators such as team member engagement, turnover, retention, and talent development. Serves as a key member of the facility leadership team, fostering relationships and influencing positive outcomes across the facility.
Duties / Responsibilities:
• Partner with plant leadership (GM, PM) to strengthen engagement, improve retention, and cultivate a culture of recognition and inclusion.
• Advise facility leaders on compliance, employee relations, performance management, and talent development to support sound decision-making.
• Lead the facility’s HR function in alignment with home office strategy; coach and develop HR team members to ensure operational excellence.
• Implement and communicate HR policies and standard operating procedures, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Oversee core HR programs, including employee relations, investigations, HRIS and payroll processes, benefits and compensation, recruitment and onboarding, and training and development initiatives.
• Analyze HR data and KPIs to identify trends, guide decision-making, and support action planning.
• Partner with leadership to define the facility’s vision for a World Class Team Member Experience; guide goal-setting and align HR initiatives to support that vision.
• Support the delivery of Organizational Development programs such as Survey Review and Action Planning and Leadership Development initiatives.
• Train and coach leaders on setting expectations, reinforcing praise and recognition practices, and addressing performance concerns effectively.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; HR certification preferred
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience
• 2+ years of HR leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations
• Ability to influence and coach leaders
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
• Experience with HR Payroll/ Timekeeping systems
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience
• Trustworthy – capable of handling and maintaining highly confidential information
• Must be able to communicate effectively and constructively with all levels in the organization
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling
• Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
• Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Work primarily involves sitting / standing, up to 4 hours at a time.
