OVERVIEW:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, action-oriented and results-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our Integrated Media, Social and Community Marketing team. This role supports the execution of integrated marketing initiatives across B2B and B2C audiences, working with internal teams, agencies and vendors to bring campaigns, social programs and marketing activities to life.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative and detail-oriented, with strong social media and project coordination skills. They are comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with budgets and invoices, and turning marketing plans into action.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Coordinate the execution of integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives across paid, owned and social channels.
Support day-to-day social media execution, including content coordination, scheduling, publishing, community engagement and performance monitoring. Working knowledge of Hootsuite is an asset.
Work with internal teams, agencies, vendors and business stakeholders to coordinate campaign deliverables, timelines, approvals and project requirements.
Coordinate workback schedules and project timelines, proactively identifying risks, dependencies and issues.
Support the development and delivery of marketing assets across digital, social, television, radio, print, podcasts, out-of-home and other channels.
Coordinate social assets, copy, approvals and publishing calendars across multiple platforms, ensuring content is accurate, timely, on brand and aligned to campaign objectives.
Manage incoming marketing invoices, ensuring they are accurately coded, submitted and processed, and maintain accurate budget tracking throughout the year. Work closely with Procurement and Accounts Payable to resolve issues and ensure timely payment.
Manage budget tracking across multiple business units, monitoring spend against approved budgets, identifying variances and issues, and ensuring budgets remain accurate and up to date throughout the year.
Coordinate media, sponsorship and partnership activities and ensure deliverables are completed as planned.
Attend and support marketing events, partnerships and community initiatives, including occasional evening and weekend attendance outside regular working hours.
Take on additional projects and responsibilities as required to support team and organizational priorities.
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, advertising, communications, business or a related field.
Minimum three years of marketing experience, preferably in a corporate, agency or similar environment.
Hands-on experience coordinating integrated marketing campaigns and social media initiatives.
Strong social media skills and working knowledge of Hootsuite, including content scheduling, publishing and community management.
Demonstrated experience with marketing budgets, invoice processing and budget tracking. Experience working with Procurement and Accounts Payable is an asset.
Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of quality and accuracy.
Understanding of digital marketing, paid media, social media and how channels work together within an integrated marketing strategy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
Experience with Monday.com or similar project management tools is an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, agencies, vendors and business partners.
Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Ability to work independently, take ownership and follow through on commitments.
Ability to support occasional evening and weekend events as required.
