Job OverviewThis role supports the growth and retention of local government accounts through direct sales activities and account management. It involves generating new sales opportunities, renewing contracts, and increasing customer satisfaction within the government sector. The role requires leveraging prior industry experience to drive revenue growth and maintain customer retention. Success is measured by meeting sales targets, renewal rates, and customer satisfaction metrics. The work impacts organizational revenue and strengthens relationships with government customers It emphasizes practical delivery and measurable impact.
Job Responsibilities:
- Generate new sales opportunities by contacting leads to meet or exceed monthly sales and renewal targets
- Establish and maintain customer relationships to drive sales growth and increase the customer base
- Analyze accounts to identify upsell and renewal opportunities and resolve customer issues promptly
- Complete continuous training to maintain product knowledge and improve sales effectiveness
- Demonstrate professionalism and cooperative behavior in interactions with customers and internal teams
- Sustain monthly call activity goals to support sales pipeline development and customer engagement
- Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- 5+ Years Selling to Government (State and Local) accounts (Preferred)
- 5+ Years Extensive Customer Service Experience (Preferred)
- 5+ Years Business Markets Sales Experience (Preferred)
- 5+ Years Wireless Industry Sales Experience (Preferred)
- 5+ Years Telesales Or Technical Sales Experience (Preferred)

- Account Management Effectively manage customer accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention. (Required)

- CRM and Microsoft Office Proficiency in using CRM systems such as Salesforce to manage customer interactions and sales activities, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting. (Required)
- Prospecting and Selling to Larger Organizations Ability to identify and engage with larger organizations to drive sales and meet quota expectations. (Required)
