Position Summary: 

Support the organization’s compensation and equity programs with responsibility for market analysis, annual compensation processes, equity design, executive compensation programs and leads reporting, analysis and governance. This hands-on position will lead the compensation team, and partner across multiple functions improving processes and translating complex compensation and equity matters into clear, practical recommendations. The role will help ensure compensation programs are market competitive, internally equitable, data-driven, compliant and aligned with the organization’s compensation philosophy, policies, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Compensation Analysis and Market Data

  • Lead and perform job evaluation, market pricing, salary structure review and market data analysis to support compensation recommendations.
  • Manage compensation survey participation, benchmarking, internal equity analysis and related reporting.

Program Administration

  • Manage and actively support annual merit, compensation review and incentive compensation program processes, including planning, data preparation, analysis, reporting, validation, issue resolution, manager guidance, and post-cycle review.
  • Provide hands-on support for job offers, promotions, job changes, new positions, and organizational changes.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and management to advise on complex compensation matters, escalate risks and recommend practical solutions.

Equity Administration & Analytics

  • Use E*TRADE to access, analyze, validate, reconcile, and review employee equity information.
  • Oversee equity compensation administration, including grants, vesting, employee equity reporting, and data validation processes while ensuring appropriate controls and documentation are maintained.
  • Lead reconciliation of equity data among the equity administration platform, Workday, and payroll systems to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Partner with Finance, Payroll, HRIS, and other stakeholders to coordinate equity-related processes, reporting, and decision support.
  • Lead and perform data extraction, validation, analysis, and reporting for employee, compensation, equity, and organizational data using HRIS, E*TRADE, Excel and related tool.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted compensation partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HRIS, General Counsel, Finance, executive leadership, and business unit leaders.

Executive Compensation, Proxy & Board Support

  • Support Executive compensation programs including preparing Proxy statement compensation data, Compensation Committee of Board of Directors materials and Board-level reporting
  • Translate complex compensation and equity data into clear, practical insights, recommendations for varied audiences.

Governance and Process Improvement

  • Maintain strong governance, documentation, confidentiality, quality control and sound judgement across compensation and equity-related work.

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance , or related field, or equivalent working experience.
  • Combination of 5-10 year experience in job evaluation, market pricing, salary structures, equity administration and HR analytics.
  • Strong foundation in core compensation practices, including job evaluation, market pricing, salary structure design, and compensation benchmarking.
  • Experience supporting compensation cycles, such as merit, annual review, and incentive programs.
  • Experience leading, coaching, or informally managing team members, projects, or cross-functional workstreams.
  • Experience with equity compensation administration and reporting, including familiarity with grants, vesting, and employee equity data.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, with Workday strongly preferred, for data extraction, validation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, complex formulas, and data modeling.
  • Working knowledge of SEC executive compensation disclosure requirements, Proxy statement preparation, and Compensation Committee or Board-level materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights for HR and business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Hands-on experience with E*TRADE Equity Edge Online or another equity administration platform preferred.
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certification or progress toward certification desired.
  • Experience in a publicly traded, financial services, or another regulated environment highly preferred.
  • Experience with compensation survey platforms and external market data providers.
  • Experience creating dashboards or data visualizations in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Exposure to pay equity analysis, compensation governance, or regulatory reporting.

Salary Range for this position is: $115K - $145K

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a motivating people leader who coaches, develops, and supports team members while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide day-to-day direction, prioritization, and performance feedback to compensation team members and project contributors.
  • Create an inclusive, service-oriented team environment that encourages learning, ownership, high-quality analysis, and strong stakeholder partnership.
  • Support departmental planning, workload management, process discipline, and cross-functional alignment across compensation priorities.

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in an office environment with telephones, personal computers, and printers. The office environment is an open workspace with individual workstations.  The noise level of the environment is usually moderate.  This position is a:
  • Sedentary position with seldom to occasional lifting of less than 11 pounds; requires frequent lifting of less than 1 pound; and may require standing less than or equal to 1/3 of the day.

Salary Range:

$103,700.00 - $162,100.00

PRA Group has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, specific working location and market position. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and PRA Group reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications and location of the selected candidate.  In addition to base salary, PRA may offer additional benefits to include performance based bonus programs and/or equity programs depending on the position.  PRA offers paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 401k match, life insurance, and other benefits to assist with the physical and mental wellbeing of our employees.
