GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Coordinate day-to-day operations of recruiting functions, including talent engagement and career fairs/events. Provide support for the Director of Employer Engagement and Associate Director of Events by performing specific duties in identified areas. May direct and coordinate the activities of student staff usually performing exempt and nonexempt tasks.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Programs
- Coordinate Talent Engagement events, including information sessions, coffee chats, career conversations, and in-person and virtual interviews at Toppel
- Publicize and promote recruiting programs to students and alumni through electronic and traditional media
- Plan, market, and implement the Employer Practice Interview and Critique (EPIC) program to ensure employer and student participation
- Work with Communications team to market recruiting events and programs via internal and external newsletters and social media
- Train professional and student staff on the process of coordinating Talent Engagement hosting responsibilities
Administrative Support & Logistics
- Work collaboratively with the Employer Engagement Team to provide support for all activities related to Employer Engagement, including Expos and Fairs, interviews, and company-hosted sessions and workshops
- Assist with planning and implementation of all career expos and fairs, which includes logistics, marketing, and communicating with recruiters
- Provide administrative support for the Director and Associate Director by scheduling employer meetings
- Manage marketing, set up, and catering for employer events
Customer Service
- Assist employers with registration for recruiting events and with navigating Handshake to create and manage job and internship postings
- Respond to recruiter inquiries related to career fairs, events, and other Toppel recruiting services
- Support employers and recruiters with recruiting processes and troubleshoot issues to ensure a positive recruiting experience
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain high level of contact with employers to ensure they meet recruiting goals
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary
- Hire, train, supervise and evaluate Employer Engagement Interns (following completion of training on supervision and coaching)
- Participate in weekly departmental meetings with Employer Engagement team members
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES (KSA)
- Knowledge of routine office practices and procedures
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Workday preferred
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to enter and verify information with accuracy and a reasonable rate of speed
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Routine participation in evening and weekend departmental programs and events is required
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Three to five years of related experience. Relevant combinations of education/experience may be considered
