As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and assist with loss prevention efforts. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while documenting security-related observations using computer or tablet tools. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, entrances, loading areas, parking locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
