Medical Assistant - Women's Health OB/GYN & Imaging Center - Days
The Medical Assistant will assist in all aspects of patient flow throughout the department. This includes, but is not limited to greeting patients, pulling/filing charts, typing forms, preparing documentation for transmission, answering telephones and assisting the physician, physician’s assistant, registered nurse and technical staff in various aspects of patient care.
This is a full-time day shift position located at the NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The schedule is as follows:
- Monday 11:00AM - 7:00PM
- Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10:00AM - 6:00PM
- Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM
Preferred Criteria
Previous Medical Assistant experience
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program
Candidate must possess excellent judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and deal effectively with all levels of staff.
