Job Summary
This role supports the Data, Insights, and Analytics (DIA) team in identifying, designing, and implementing digital solutions that enhance financial reporting and insights generation. The analyst will work closely with DIA project leads, finance stakeholders, and technical partners to convert Excel-based reporting into scalable Power BI dashboards and to explore AI-enabled solutions for financial analysis.
The role is highly hands-on, requiring strong technical capabilities in data modeling, visualization, and automation. In addition to contributing to solution development, the analyst will assist with coordinating project activities, tracking progress, and supporting stakeholder engagement.
Key focus areas include:
- Asset Transformation – Converting legacy Excel reports into scalable, governed Power BI assets
- User Experience – Enhancing usability, adoption, and accessibility of reporting solutions
- AI Enablement – Supporting development and experimentation of AI tools (e.g., Copilot, approved agents) to generate financial insights
- Business Optimization – Applying analytics to solve real business problems and improve decision-making
Responsibilities
- Support development of Power BI dashboards and data models, including data transformation, validation, and visualization design
- Partner with DIA team members and business stakeholders to identify candidate reports for digitalization and define solution requirements
- Contribute to design and implementation of AI-enabled use cases, leveraging approved tools (e.g., Copilot, internal agents) to enhance financial insights
- Assist in tracking DIA initiatives within the Plan of Record (POR), including status updates, dependencies, and risks
- Collaborate with asset owners and finance teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability of transformed assets
- Support testing, quality assurance, and documentation for dashboards and analytics solutions
- Help prepare regular updates and materials for leadership, summarizing progress, insights, and key issues
- Contribute to process improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to streamline reporting and analysis workflows
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- 4–7 years of experience
- Experience in financial analysis, reporting, or analytics roles
- Demonstrated experience working with data tools (Power BI preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong foundation in financial analysis and accounting principles
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Query, and Excel-based data transformation
- Familiarity with data modeling, visualization best practices, and dashboard design
- Interest or experience in AI-enabled analytics tools (e.g., Copilot, automation tools)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to cross-functional projects
- Basic to intermediate project coordination skills (tracking, organization, follow-ups)
