The Associate Manager, Regional Pricing plays a critical role in the ongoing operation, governance, and scaling of Regional Pricing. Reporting to the Manager, Regional Pricing, this position owns key Regional Pricing workstreams, provides leadership and support to Regional Pricing Analysts, and serves as a subject matter expert for Regional Pricing processes and capabilities.

This role works closely with Merchandising, Pricing Operations, Promotion Strategy, Analytics, Technology, and other cross-functional partners to ensure Regional Pricing is executed accurately, efficiently, and consistently while supporting future capability enhancements and business growth.

What you'll do:

Regional Pricing Operations & Workstream Ownership

  • Own and lead assigned Regional Pricing workstreams, ensuring deliverables are executed accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage day-to-day Regional Pricing operational activities, governance processes, and ongoing business support.
  • Monitor Regional Pricing performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization or process improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to Regional Pricing guardrails, business rules, and governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and training materials.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Perform data extraction, validation, and analysis to support Regional Pricing decision-making.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and insights that support Regional Pricing operations and performance monitoring.
  • Analyze pricing performance, competitor activity, customer response, and operational metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Translate data into actionable business recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Act as a primary subject matter expert for Regional Pricing operations, processes, capabilities, and business rules.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to stakeholders regarding Regional Pricing execution and governance.
  • Support the evolution and scaling of Regional Pricing capabilities through capability initiatives
  • Participate in the development and refinement of processes, tools, and operational frameworks supporting Regional Pricing.

Analyst Leadership & Development

  • Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support to Regional Pricing Analysts.
  • Review analyst deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Help develop team capability by sharing knowledge, providing feedback, and supporting professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and continuous improvement-oriented team environment.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as a key point of contact for Regional Pricing operational questions and support requests.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Pricing Operations, Promotion Strategy, Analytics, Technology, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and drive execution.
  • Support the implementation of new Regional Pricing capabilities and process enhancements

Issue Investigation & Resolution

  • Investigate pricing issues, data discrepancies, process exceptions, and operational concerns as they arise.
  • Perform root cause analysis and work with cross-functional teams to develop sustainable solutions.
  • Monitor open issues and ensure timely resolution and appropriate stakeholder communication.
  • Escalate risks or recurring issues when necessary.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, KNIME, or similar analytical tools is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts and data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Education & Experience

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Pricing, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Business Analysis, Analytics, or related functions.
  • Experience leading projects, workstreams, or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience interpreting and analyzing large datasets to generate business insights.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Our typical hiring range is between $64,000.00 and $106,000.00 CAD Annual. The target salary range is between $68,000.00 and $75,000.00 CAD Annual. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
