Description
Your mission
- Design and build the on-device collector that captures high[1]frequency telemetry, diagnostics, and operational-state signals directly from vehicle networks and robot middleware.
- Implement edge data integrity at capture: time synchronization and cryptographic signing, so data is tamper-evident from the moment it leaves the device.
- Build buffering and secure transport that survive intermittent connectivity without losing events, within tight on[1]vehicle resources.
- Own on-device data minimization and filtering so the platform meets obligations before data ever leaves the vehicle.
- Port and harden the collector across OEM platforms and devices running on safety-critical hardware.
Your profile
- 5+ years building embedded or edge software in C++, or Rust is a must.
- Deep experience with automotive or robotics software platforms: AUTOSAR Adaptive, embedded Linux, ROS 2, and vehicle networks.
- Strong grasp of resource-constrained, real-time systems: memory and CPU budgets, deterministic behavior, concurrency, and low-level debugging.
- Experience moving data from edge to cloud under intermittent connectivity.
- Practical security and reliability engineering on embedded targets.
- Automotive or robotics safety and security standards exposure: ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155/R156.
- Time-synchronization, sensor and perception data, or battery/BMS telemetry experience.
