Smilebuilderz has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, service-oriented assistant Dental Office Manager to help oversee the administrative operations in our dental office.
To excel in this role, you should be self-motivated, highly organized, a good communicator, and have the talent to inspire teams.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Complete deposits and check petty cash from previous workday.
· Prepare Daily Log Summaries to run morning huddles.
· Assist with training and developing the staff to meet performance standards.
· Assist General Manager with staff evaluations.
· Assist General Manager with updating employee missed punches in payroll system.
· May handle or assist with discipline and/or termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
· Oversee and monitor staff call outs. Must be available to respond to Saturday call-offs and collaborate with other managers to secure coverage for the shift.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Help oversee the daily work activities of the office and make sure the General Dentist and Hygiene schedules are filled.
· Respond efficiently to patient, employee and doctor needs/inquires.
· Resolve patient, employee and doctor needs/inquires in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
· Screen voicemails that are sent to the manager and follow up with messages in a timely manner.
· Ensure the delivery of quality dental care to patients.
· Help develop promotional programs to attract more patients.
· Provide support when needed to assist with assigned administrative duties such as answering phones, preparing documents and presenting treatment plans.
· Be professional and courteous when interacting with patients, employees and Doctors.
Requirements
Safety & Compliance:
Follow OSHA standards and HIPAA according to compliance and programs.
Education, Experience & Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Associate’s degree in office administration or related field preferred.
· At least three years of administrative and clerical experience.
· Must have 3–5 years of recent, relevant experience in the dental or medical field, preferably with prior supervisory experience.
