We have an exciting opportunity for a Data & Reporting Analyst to join our Business Solutions Data & Reporting team. This central function plays a key role in delivering high quality business intelligence and analytics across the organisation, helping to support informed decision making and operational performance.
Working closely with colleagues across the firm, you will design, develop and maintain reporting and dashboard solutions that transform complex data into accessible and actionable insight. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, improve reporting capabilities and support the continued development of a data-led culture.

About the role
In this role, you'll:
Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring they are accurate, user-friendly and aligned to business requirements.
Write and optimise SQL queries to extract, transform and prepare data from multiple sources.
Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights that support business decision making.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the firm to gather, understand and translate reporting requirements into effective data solutions.
Design clear and engaging data visualisations that communicate key messages to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Support the integrity, quality and consistency of reporting data across systems and platforms.
Work closely with the Data & Reporting team and Mourant Group IT to ensure data flows are secure, efficient and fit for purpose.
Contribute to the development of reporting capabilities that support a data-led culture across the firm.
About you – essential requirements
Proven experience developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
Practical experience using SQL for data extraction, transformation and analysis.
Demonstrable ability to analyse complex datasets and generate meaningful business insight.
Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, integrity and quality.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain data concepts and findings to a range of audiences.
Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience, with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
Experience or exposure to AI, automation or advanced analytics techniques.
Knowledge of additional data and analytics tools such as Python, R, Tableau or advanced Excel.
Experience working within a professional services, financial services or corporate services environment is not essential, but desirable.
