Job Description
1. Financial Controllership & Accounting
Key Responsibilities
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses, payroll accounting, and fixed asset accounting.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management accounts.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Drive process standardization and automation initiatives.
Expected Outcomes
- Timely and accurate books closure.
- Robust financial controls environment.
- Zero material audit observations.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Perform variance analysis for revenue, expenses, headcount, and operational metrics.
- Develop financial models, scenario analysis, and business cases.
- Support business leaders with strategic decision-making and cost optimization initiatives.
- Monitor key financial KPIs and business performance metrics.

- High forecasting accuracy.

- Improved cost efficiency and resource utilization.
3. Direct & Indirect Taxation
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Corporate Income Tax, GST, TDS, Transfer Pricing, and other regulatory compliances.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of returns and tax payments.
- Coordinate tax assessments, audits, and notices.
- Identify tax planning opportunities while maintaining compliance.
- Liaise with tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
Expected Outcomes
- 100% compliance with tax regulations.
- No penalties or litigation due to non-compliance.
- Efficient tax governance framework.
4. MIS & Management Reporting
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
- Deliver insights on financial performance, cost trends, headcount, profitability, and operating metrics.
- Develop dashboards and analytical reports using ERP and reporting tools.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

- Timely and accurate management reporting.

5. Audit Management
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Internal Audit, and Regulatory Audits.
- Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and financial statements.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Implement corrective actions and strengthen internal controls.
Expected Outcomes
- Successful completion of audits within timelines.
- Minimal audit observations.
- Strong governance and compliance culture.
6. SAP & Financial Systems
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Finance SME for SAP and related financial systems.
- Ensure integrity of master data, cost centers, GL structure, and reporting hierarchy.
- Support automation, enhancements, and system optimization projects.
- Drive data accuracy and process efficiencies through system controls.

7. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop accounting, FP&A, taxation, and reporting teams.
- Coach and mentor finance professionals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, business leaders, auditors, consultants, and regulators.
- Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience
- CA preferred.
- 12-15+ years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting.
- Strong expertise in Financial Controllership, FP&A, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Audit Management, and MIS.
- Hands-on experience with SAP.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
