ACCIONA delivers major transport, water and social infrastructure projects across Victoria, including rail, road and building programs that shape how Melbourne grows. This role sits across our project portfolio, providing commercial oversight and support to project teams delivering some of the state's most complex infrastructure work.
About Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will guide the commercial and contracts administration function, optimising margin while managing commercial risk and opportunity. As part of the Project Management Team, you will work closely with Project Managers to provide strategic commercial direction across ACCIONA's Victorian project portfolio. You will manage cost and contract deliverables, oversee Head Contract administration, and support project teams through coaching, mentoring and stakeholder engagement.
Key accountabilities for the position will be:
- Manage cost, value and contract deliverables across projects
- Administer Head Contracts with best-practice governance
- Identify and mitigate commercial and supply chain risks
- Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships
- Develop procurement strategies that maximise value for money
- Negotiate contract terms and resolve commercial disputes
- Coach and mentor commercial and project personnel
Required Skills and Competencies
- Degree in Commerce, Finance, Law or related field
- Proven experience in commercial and contract management
- Strong track record negotiating major contracts
- Sound understanding of risk, procurement and financial analysis
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
