Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol in Clinton, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Preferred candidates can lift more than 20 pounds.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
