Position Objective:

Frasers Property is undertaking a multi-year transformation to implement a OneFrasers Operating Model, focusing on Structure, People & Process with an enterprise mindset. The OneFrasers operating model aims to create a unified organisation, driving performance, that can adapt, grow, and deliver value more effectively.

To deliver OneFrasers, several strategic projects have been launched, including key projects like OneERP (SAP) that is designed to harmonise and align the group’s ERP system onto a single global platform.

The Finance Transformation Lead will play a pivotal role in delivering the OneERP roadmap. This position owns the business-side system mapping and data migration workflows from Frasers Property Australia’s legacy SAP environment to the new unified platform. Acting as a critical interface, the role will collaborate closely with business units and senior finance stakeholders to safeguard data integrity, accuracy, and reporting continuity.

Beyond the core ERP delivery, this role will also champion and deliver on other finance transformation initiatives, specifically leading the deployment of the finance function’s AI and automation strategy.

Performance Standards

Data migration

• Design and execute the overarching data migration strategy for the Finance stream, specifying data profiling and transformation rules.
• Lead the discovery, cleansing, and validation of all relevant data sources, partnering with business SMEs to ensure data integrity for migration to the new ERP.
• Drive data cleansing initiatives across sub-ledgers and master data fields (including vendors, customers, assets, profit centres and cost centres) to remove redundancies and ensure migration readiness.
• Map legacy data fields and structures to global ERP templates, highlighting statutory, regulatory, and operational nuances.
• Own data validation cycles—reviewing test loads, reconciling migrated data, and ensuring completeness and accuracy before go-live.

System mapping

• Ensure the translation of business process requirements into system specifications that meet requirements for process harmonisation, in conjunction with Global Process Owners, Solution Integrators, and the Digital & Technology team.
• Participate in fit-gap analysis, identifying where the standard ERP solution fits and where gaps exist—driving decisions on configuration, customisation, or process change.
• Develop and validate user stories and test cases that reflect real-world scenarios, ensuring the system supports both standard and edge-case operations.

Finance transformation

• Implement and embed technologies, including AI and RPA, as part of the ERP implementation
• Design and pilot innovative use cases for AI and other transformation initiatives in the finance function.

Change management

• Deliver training materials and sessions to the business, ensuring end users are ready to operate in the new ERP environment.
• Provide on-the-ground support during cutover and hyper-care, triaging issues and ensuring a smooth transition.

Relationships and Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with other finance functions and business representatives on achieving optimal financial outcomes relating to data migration.
• Maintain active collaboration and engagement with the OneERP Project Management Office team to align milestones and report dependencies.
• Provide transparent project status updates, risk updates, and milestone insights to senior management and the project team.

Competencies, Qualifications, Attributes & Experience

Experience

• Experience in using SAP ECC or S4
• Involvement in finance transformation projects and/or ERP implementations
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in Financial Reporting or Audit with a Big 4 Chartered Accountancy firm

Competencies

• Strong reporting and financial systems capability (SAP and Business Objects experience highly regarded)
• Strong Microsoft Excel and other Office product skills
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Strong comprehension of financial accounting and management reporting requirements in a large company

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (major in business, economics or finance/accounting)
• CPA or CA qualified
