Help ACC continue as the leader in government payment processing solutions by joining our Account Executive Team, which is responsible for providing specialized support services for our diverse portfolio of government/municipality clients, external ISV partners, internal Sales Representatives, and other high-profile internal and external customers.
As an Account Executive, you will work closely with a team of your peers to ensure we are providing the highest levels of customer service that we have become known for. This role is an essential part of the Operations team, as they support the critical functions related to onboarding and VIP partner and client support.
Responsible for new account on-boarding, including but not limited to drafting Service Provider Agreements for new customer acquisition, securing and submitting merchant agreements, performing account entry and setup, creating Bureau Information Sheets and Bureau Welcome Letters, and updating systems of record for newly boarded accounts
Performs phone, webinar, and/or onsite training, as needed, for newly acquired clients and/or sales partners on processing tools and reporting
Provides phone and email support for high-profile clients and/or sales partners
Analyzes and researches/resolves account issues, specifically regarding account reconciliation, equipment/gateway/integration troubleshooting, and refund requests
Responsible for initiating maintenance requests for existing clients and ensuring those changes are completed to specification and in a timely fashion by the merchant acquirer
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's in related field and 2 years of related experience or HS/GED and 6 years
Must be 18 years of age or older
Strong presentation skills with an ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors and 2 years
3-4 years of experience in a customer service, bankcard industry experience preferred, but not required
A passion for, or experience with, the government sector
Exudes a “customer first” attitude that is focused on achieving an outstanding customer experience for both clients and sales partners
Ability to develop a strong rapport with internal and external partners
Maintain an above average knowledge of First American and ACC’s workflow, policies, procedures, and systems
Excellent track record of hitting goals, milestones, and deliverables with aggressive deadlines and sometimes competing prioritization
Out-of-the-box thinker who can proactively identify issues and find creative solutions to complex situations
Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work efficiently with minimal guidance and supervision
Ability to work independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team
Outstanding communication skills both written and oral
