Description
Role Purpose
The team translates market opportunities, customer needs, competitive dynamics, technology evolution, and business objectives into a cohesive product roadmap for in-home connectivity. It connects product strategy to execution by defining experiences, aligning technical and operational dependencies, enabling channels, managing product performance, and continuously improving the customer journey from shop and purchase through installation, activation, adoption, support, migration, retention, and lifecycle management. This team will focus on implementation of the identified opportunities. This team owns the end-to-end strategy, development, enablement, optimization, and lifecycle management of AT&T’s in-home internet product experience across Fiber, converged connectivity, customer installation, activation, and in-home Wi-Fi experiences. The team is accountable for delivering a simple, reliable, differentiated, and profitable home internet experience that grows broadband revenue, improves household convergence, reduces cost to serve, increases customer satisfaction, and strengthens AT&T’s market leadership in residential connectivity.
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.
Core Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the in-home internet product roadmap across Fiber, AT&T Internet Air, converged products, speed tiers, Wi-Fi experiences, Internet Backup, extenders, All-Fi Pro, and related premium or foundational broadband features.
- Identify market, competitive, customer experience, and profitability opportunities; convert insights into product strategies, business cases, requirements, prioritized roadmaps, and measurable execution plans.
- Lead convergence strategy across Fiber, AT&T Internet Air, and Mobility to create a unified value proposition, increase converged household penetration, and deliver seamless in- and out-of-footprint experiences.
- Manage migration, mover, retention, and technology-stack transition strategies, including AIA-to-Fiber migration, working service conflict resolution, customer upgrade paths, save strategies, and service continuity.
- Drive product enablement for market-level speed offerings, multi-gig and future speed tiers, rate card evolution, competitive claims, full-tech install offerings, self-install options, and terms and conditions maintenance.
- Lead the Customer Self Install Center of Excellence across Fiber, AT&T Internet Air, extenders, and related experiences, reducing unnecessary dispatches and contacts while making self-install the preferred digital onboarding experience.
- Own activation, onboarding, and adoption experiences from purchase through kit delivery, gateway activation, Wi-Fi setup, app engagement, and post-install customer success.
- Define and manage the CSI roadmap, OKRs, milestones, dependencies, and execution plans; integrate new products, devices, digital capabilities, and services into the install and activation ecosystem.
- Partner with Field, Engineering, Digital, Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Care, Operations, CTX, CPE, Network, Legal, and Finance to align product requirements, customer experience design, technical dependencies, go-to-market plans, and operational readiness.
- Use data, customer research, competitive analysis, KPIs, and operational insights to monitor product performance, diagnose friction, prioritize improvements, and drive continuous optimization.
Expected Outcomes
- A clear, integrated in-home internet product roadmap that connects customer needs, technology capabilities, market opportunities, and business priorities.
- Improved customer experience across ordering, installation, activation, Wi-Fi setup, adoption, support, migration, and retention.
- Higher broadband growth, converged household penetration, feature adoption, revenue, ARPU, and lifetime value.
- Lower cost to serve through reduced contacts, dispatches, failed self-installs, truck rolls, operational friction, and avoidable support demand.
- Stronger profitability through disciplined roadmap prioritization, rate card alignment, product lifecycle management, capital and expense awareness, and value-based product design.
- Improved NPS, install success, activation success, Wi-Fi performance, churn, retention, and customer confidence in AT&T’s in-home connectivity experience.
- Consistent cross-functional execution across product, technology, operations, field, digital, sales, care, marketing, and finance partners.
Key Measures of Success
- Fiber revenue, EBITDA, net adds, churn, and household penetration.
- Converged household percentage, household revenue growth, and mobility attach where applicable.
- Feature adoption, revenue, churn, and profitability for All-Fi Pro, Internet Backup, Extended Wi-Fi Coverage Service, Wi-Fi Personalization, and related in-home experiences.
- CSI eligibility, take rate, success rate, activation rate, registration rate, digital engagement, contact rate, dispatch rate, and failed install reduction.
- Install experience metrics, including full-tech install adoption, CSI/FTI mix, install satisfaction, time to activate, setup success, and cost per install.
- Customer experience outcomes, including NPS, CSAT, Wi-Fi experience, support contacts, issue resolution, retention, and customer confidence.
- Roadmap execution, launch readiness, dependency management, business case attainment, and cross-functional delivery against OKRs.
