Let’s Talk about the Role

The Technical Project Manager will provide leadership, operational oversight, and professional development for our team of Site Supervisors within the Nordic Hydro Services organization.

You will balance people management with critical resource planning, ensuring our field teams are strategically deployed to meet project demands while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and service excellence.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Leading and mentoring a team of site supervisors, fostering a culture of safety and technical excellence.
• Managing weekly resource allocation processes to ensure project coverage, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts.
• Acting as the primary liaison between the field supervisor team and regional leadership, reporting on operational health and utilization.
• Collaborating with services personnel to exchange feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Developing strong customer relations through a responsive, flexible, and professional service attitude.
• Overseeing Project Management Site Installation (PMSI) responsibilities to ensure seamless project delivery.

Special Role Requirements

• Able to travel to and from projects and various field assignments.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by field assignments.
• Ability to spend time away from home for training and field assignments.

Skills for Success

You should be a motivated leader with a strong commitment to service excellence, possessing:

• The ability to manage and inspire teams in a multicultural environment.
• The capability to coordinate projects using tools such as MS Project, MS Office, and ERP systems.
• An understanding of rotating equipment and electrical rotating machines.
• An expertise in EHS protocols and maintaining a strong safety mindset.
• A keen interest in hydropower and field-based service operations.
• Fluency in both Norwegian and English.

A technical apprenticeship or relevant educational background is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience, your background in rotating equipment, and your professional achievements in leading teams.

Where and how you'll work

This is a permanent position based in our Lier, Norway office. We are big on collaboration and connection, and this role requires an onsite presence to support our field teams effectively.
