Job Responsibilities:  

• Own the operational performance and roadmap of Dynamics and digital applications.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of Managed Services and development partners.
• Hold providers accountable for SLAs, incidents, development quality, timelines, estimates, documentation, and project delivery.
• Maintain strong technical understanding of Dynamics 365 F&O, Dynamics CRM, Power Platform, SharePoint, and related technologies.
• Understand Dynamics architecture, Dataverse, configurations, customizations, environments, security, data structures, integrations, and application lifecycle management.
• Provide technical direction for Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, web portals, and custom applications.
• Review application architecture and technical designs proposed by vendors.
• Challenge unnecessary customizations or overly complex solutions.
• Provide technical oversight for integrations between ERP, CRM, legacy systems, SaaS applications, and Data & Analytics platforms.
• Understand APIs, middleware, Azure integration technologies, Logic Apps, Power Automate, authentication, error handling, and integration monitoring.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, and Commercial stakeholders to understand requirements and improve business processes.
• Lead application participation in projects, enhancements, implementations, integrations, and upgrades.
• Ensure appropriate development, testing, documentation, deployment, and change-management practices.
• Coordinate closely with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Data & Analytics, and PMO.
• Manage application technical debt and promote standardization.
• Develop the roadmap for Dynamics and related Microsoft platforms.
• Support Dynamics as a potential strategic platform within the future ERP consolidation strategy.
• Ensure application and technical knowledge is retained internally.

Team Leadership and Management 

• Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. 

• Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, ensuring that the team is equipped to meet organizational needs and project deadlines. 

• Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and provide feedback to team members to enhance their skills and contributions. 

IT Strategy and Implementation 

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute the IT strategy in alignment with the organization’s overall goals and objectives. 

• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. 

• Technology Adoption: Evaluate and recommend new technologies and systems to enhance operational efficiency and improve service delivery. 

Operational Oversight 

• IT Infrastructure Management: Ensure the stability, security, and performance of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud services. 

• Incident Management: Oversee the incident management process, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and minimizing disruptions to business operations. 

• Change Management: Implement change management processes to facilitate the smooth introduction of new technologies and updates, ensuring minimal impact on users. 

Budgeting and Financial Management 

• Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring prudent financial management and cost control in all IT activities. 

• Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with contracts and service level agreements (SLAs). 

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement 

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to identify technology needs, gather requirements, and provide IT solutions that enhance productivity. 

• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on IT initiatives, projects, and performance metrics. 

Compliance and Security 

• Policy Development: Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. 

• Cybersecurity: Oversee cybersecurity initiatives to protect the organization’s data and systems from potential threats and vulnerabilities. 

Education:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) preferred. 

• 8+ years of experience in IT management or a related field, with a proven track record of managing complex IT projects and teams.
• 8–10+ years of enterprise application, ERP, CRM, or application-delivery experience.
• Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience.
• Strong experience with Dynamics F&O and/or Dynamics CRM.
• Strong technical understanding of enterprise application architecture.
• Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft technologies.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, middleware, and cloud integration concepts.
• Understanding of software-development concepts, testing, deployment, environments, and application lifecycle management.
• Strong Managed Services and vendor-management experience.
• Experience managing development and implementation partners.
• Understanding of Finance and/or Commercial business processes.
• Experience managing incidents, enhancements, releases, and projects.
• Ability to challenge technical designs, estimates, and vendor recommendations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Preferred
