Position: Materials TechnicianLocation: 1199 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ 07052Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8am-4pm

Compensation: $21.00 - 26.00 hourly  (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities

As a Material Technician, you would provide support to the Materials Manager to ensure efficiency of service. Assists with the purchase and delivery of supplies, equipment, and services upon receipt of properly executed paperwork.

• Assists the Materials Manager in the departmental operations.
• Receives all deliveries and inspects items for damage or defects. Verifies the completeness and accuracy of all deliveries and alerts the departments (buyers) of any discrepancies.
• Maintains an updated Material Safety Data Sheet manual of items handled through and stocked in Stores.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of previous storeroom/shipping and receiving experience preferred
