Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Building Access in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
