HireNow Staffing is recruiting an experienced Emergency Room nursing leader to support department operations, staff performance, and patient care at an established acute-care hospital in Fort Walton Beach.
This opportunity requires recent ER management or supervisory experience and flexibility to provide substantial night-shift leadership coverage.

Schedule Expectations
- Current coverage needs may require approximately 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., five days per week.
- The employer's goal is to transition toward 8–10-hour shifts, with start times between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
- That transition is not guaranteed; candidates should be prepared for the current extended night-coverage needs.
- Exact hours and ongoing expectations should be confirmed during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and clinical leadership for emergency department nursing staff.
- Support staffing assignments, patient flow, and coordination of care.
- Serve as a resource for nurses managing urgent and complex patient needs.
- Partner with department leadership to address coverage needs and operational concerns.
- Coach staff, reinforce accountability, and support professional development.
- Promote patient safety, quality care, and adherence to hospital policies.
- Support communication among nursing staff, providers, and other departments.
- Participate in performance improvement and resolution of patient-care concerns.

Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of recent acute-care experience as an ER Manager or Supervisor
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Active, unencumbered Florida RN license or applicable multistate compact RN license
- No current or previous disciplinary action against any nursing license
- Availability to meet the department's current evening and night leadership needs
- Strong leadership, communication, prioritization, and staff-management skills
All RN licenses must be verified through Nursys for current and previous disciplinary actions. Under the employer's submission criteria, candidates with any history of nursing-license disciplinary action cannot be submitted.
