Description
Our client is a very high end 5* international chain boutique resort featuring +/- 30 exclusive private villas and bespoke guest experiences in a unique natural setting.
Note that this superb resort is located in a magnificent, but remote location, in Indonesia.
The resort is currently in its pre-opening phase, with the first phase scheduled to open in Q1 2027.
You will be heavily involved with the pre-opening activities and will later on be overseeing the day to day operations of this unique property and lead and mentor a passionate local team who will deliver a truly memorable experience for their guests.
For this position, both Expats and Indonesian Nationals are being considered.
Profile
• High end 5*, leisure resort and boutique operation experience
• Strong foundation in internationally branded properties
• Experience in the same position or similar role
• Working experience in Indonesia is a big plus
• Remote island experience
• Asia Pacific experience
• Pre-opening experience is a must
• Knows about or wants to learn about sustainability
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Well developed organizational and administrative skills
• Strategic mindset with strong planning and decision making capabilities
• Effective problem solving and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commitment to service delivery and attention to detail
• Actively involved in ensuring excellent guest experience and innovative in revenue generating efforts
• Well presented, sociable, great entertaining and PR skills
• A person full of drive who loves and can relay to and follow the vision of this very unique property
• Culturally and environmentally sensitive
• Dynamic, hands-on and resourceful
• Guest focused and engaging, passionate about service
• Results oriented with a proactive management style
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Energetic, hands on
• Computer literate
