Position Summary...
What you'll do...
As Director, Transaction Management, you’ll lead the financial and transactional management of Walmart Facility Services, overseeing the operating expense and capital investment activity that keeps our stores and clubs running. You’ll own forecasting, financial modeling, transaction controls, and plan execution across a diverse portfolio—from facility repairs and asset replacements to emergency operations, parts and tools, and recycling and waste programs. Your focus will be giving leaders clear, forward-looking visibility into spend, commitments, risks, and opportunities so they can make better decisions and deliver against annual plans. You’ll also lead 7 direct reports and an organization of 18 associates, building a team known for financial acumen, operational judgment, innovation, and accountability. What You'll Do- Deliver against the annual Facility Services plan. Lead forecasting, modeling, transaction management, and plan administration across operating expense and capital investment, driving disciplined execution toward zero variance.
- Turn complex activity into actionable insight. Create daily and monthly visibility into actuals, commitments, forecasts, risks, and opportunities so leaders can anticipate issues and act early.
- Connect financial plans to field execution. Ensure teams managing work orders, repairs, replacements, emergency events, assets, parts, and other facility needs have the financial guidance and support required to execute.
- Improve how decisions get made. Build models and scenarios that help leaders evaluate tradeoffs and allocate resources while strengthening controls, simplifying processes, and leveraging AI and LLMs to improve forecasting and productivity.
- Lead across the enterprise. Partner with Accounting, Finance, Controllership, Internal Audit, Operations, Procurement, and Facility Services to align financial expectations with operational execution.
- Build a high-performing team. Lead and develop an 18-person organization with a strong culture of ownership, financial discipline, continuous improvement, and results.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing complex operating and capital plans; finance, real estate finance, facilities, or another asset-intensive environment is especially relevant.
- Advanced forecasting, financial modeling, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business decisions.
- A track record of identifying financial risks and opportunities early and driving action to deliver against commitments.
- Experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders across financial and operational functions.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where unexpected operational needs can quickly change financial priorities.
- Proficiency with AI and large language models, with the ability to identify practical ways emerging technology can improve analysis, forecasting, and team productivity.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Legal, or related field and 5 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management or related area OR 7 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.4 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
