The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Administrator to support day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations for our India-based offices. This role will be responsible for vendor payments, customer invoicing, collections support, and local statutory tax payments in India. Experience with NetSuite is a must as we've recently migrated to the platform.
What You'll Do
Accounts Payable (AP):
Process vendor invoices accurately and on time
Execute vendor payments per agreed terms
Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies
Manage employee expense reimbursements
Ensure adherence to internal controls and documentation standards
Accounts Receivable (AR):
Prepare and issue customer invoices
Track receivables and support collection efforts
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues
Monitor AR aging and escalate overdue balances
Accounting & Reporting:
Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
Maintain accurate accounting records and schedules
Assist with internal and external audits
Tax & Compliance (India):
Manage statutory payments (GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other local taxes)
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory filings
Coordinate with external tax consultants and auditors
Payroll Support:
Onboarding & Validation: Verify new joiner details, CTC structure, payroll setup, and ensure accurate employee data
Salary Processing: Review gross pay, deductions, net pay, and validate bank details for timely payroll execution
Reconciliation & Approval: Reconcile salary registers with disbursals and prepare payroll for management approval
Bank Upload & Disbursement: Upload payroll files to bank portals and ensure successful salary credits
Coordination & Compliance: Work with management on approvals and clarifications, ensuring payroll accuracy and policy compliance
What You Bring to the Table
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–5 years of relevant AP/AR or general corporate accounting experience
Strong knowledge of Indian statutory and tax requirements
Experience with NetSuite is a must
Proficiency in MS Excel
Skills:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities
High level of ownership, integrity and accuracy
Good communication skills, English fluency required
