Key Responsibilities
- Preparing accounting records and maintaining accurate financial information for a portfolio of international client entities.
- Reviewing, analysing and reconciling financial data from a variety of sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Posting accounting entries and supporting the preparation of trial balances and financial reports.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts within agreed deadlines.
- Supporting the completion and submission of regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
- Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and related documentation.
- Working closely with colleagues across different jurisdictions to ensure a high standard of client service.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance reporting efficiency.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics (or a related discipline) or be Part-Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA (or equivalent)
- Circa 2 years' accounting experience within a professional services firm, fund administrator or financial services business
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including journals, debits and credits and general ledger postings
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and SUMIFS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment
