Job Details
Responsibilities:
Prepares and reviews journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger updates to support accurate period-end close.
Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions (invoice processing, exception handling, and payment execution support).
Performs subledger-to-ledger reconciliations, investigates discrepancies, and coordinates corrections to maintain data integrity.
Maintains cost and inventory accounting data and resolves master data or transaction issues impacting reporting.
Produces routine analyses and reporting for budgets, forecasts, working capital, cash flow, and capital activity, summarizing key drivers.
Executes assigned controls, retains supporting evidence, and escalates and coordinates resolution of control exceptions across credit and payment reconciliation processes.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
2+ years of experience in accounting, financial operations, reconciliations, close support, reporting support, or a related field required.
Cerificates:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or equivalent certification preferred.
Skill and Knowledge:
Knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger, and financial statements.
Ability to perform financial analysis, including forecasting and financial modeling.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organization and time management skills with attention to detail.
Ability to resolve customer payment and accounts payable issues.
Demonstrates leadership or supervisory capability where applicable.
Ability to work independently and show initiative.
Ability to implement and maintain processes that support satisfactory audit practices.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of accounting and reporting tools such as Hyperion, Oracle SmartView, and SAP.
Working knowledge of credit and collection procedures.
Understanding of market trends affecting the pharmacy business where applicable.
Salary Rages:
2135 - 3051 EUR gross monthly
