Key Responsibilities
Perform a broad range of technical service activities related to the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, upgrades, and performance verification of radiotherapy linear accelerators (LINACs).
Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, electromechanical, and connectivity issues, ensuring rapid restoration of system functionality and maximum clinical uptime.
Prioritize service activities and effectively plan interventions to minimize customer downtime and disruption to patient treatment schedules.
Provide both remote and on-site technical support to customers and act as a second and third-level escalation resource for complex technical issues.
Perform remote monitoring and predictive maintenance tools to proactively identify potential equipment issues and improve system reliability and availability.
Collaborate closely with radiation oncology departments, medical physicists, clinical users, and internal support organizations to ensure safe and effective operation of treatment delivery systems.
Support the implementation of hardware and software updates, modifications, and field actions throughout the equipment lifecycle.
Maintain accurate service documentation, technical reports, and system records in accordance with company quality requirements and regulatory standards.
Ensure compliance with Siemens Healthineers quality processes, radiation safety requirements, customer site procedures, and all applicable regulatory obligations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of service tools, technical procedures, knowledge bases, and operational processes.
Support customer education and technical guidance related to system operation, maintenance practices, and service recommendations.
