Role: Director / Sr Director– Engineering (Product Delivery)

Role Overview   

We are looking for a ‘Director / Sr Director’ of Engineering to lead delivery across multiple product families, driving innovation, quality, and execution at scale. In this role, you will lead a large, geographically distributed engineering organization and work closely with Product Management, Quality Engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful software solutions to our customers. 

This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a balance of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and technical understanding, along with exceptional people and stakeholder leadership skills. 

What You’ll Do   

Drive Delivery Excellence   

• Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple product families, ensuring high-quality, predictable outcomes. 
• Establish and evolve delivery processes, Agile practices, Agent Centric Development and operational governance. 
• Ensure alignment with product roadmaps, timelines, and customer commitments. 
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement. 

Lead and Inspire Teams   

• Lead and mentor a large engineering organization, including managers and senior leaders. 
• Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, accountability, curiosity and continuous learning. 
• Attract, develop, and retain top talent while strengthening leadership bench strength. 
• Champion diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement. 

Partner Across the Organization   

• Work closely with Product Management to align vision, priorities, and roadmaps. 
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to ensure robust testing strategies and product quality. 
• Engage with architecture and platform teams to drive scalable and future-ready solutions. 
• Coordinate effectively with global stakeholders across regions to ensure alignment and transparency. 

Shape Strategy and Innovation   

• Contribute to engineering strategy and product direction, ensuring alignment with business goals. 
• Drive adoption of modern technologies, engineering practices, and innovation initiatives. 
• Foster a mindset of continuous improvement and customer-centricity. 

Provide Technical and Operational Leadership   

• Maintain a strong understanding of software architecture, cloud technologies, AI technologies and SDLC best practices. 
• Guide teams in balancing speed, quality, and scalability. 
• Improve engineering metrics including productivity, quality, and cycle time. 

What We’re Looking For   

Experience   

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant leadership responsibility 
• Proven experience managing large, multi-layered engineering teams (150–200+)   
• Background in product-based organizations, preferably enterprise or SaaS  

Leadership & Collaboration   

• Strong   people leadership and team development experience   
• Ability to influence and collaborate across matrixed, global organizations   
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage at all levels 

Technical Expertise   

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), AI and Agile methodologies Familiarity with Software architectures (cloud, microservices, APIs) and DevOps practices and AI 
• Ability to engage in technical discussions and decision-making, without being hands-on daily

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills 
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
