Description
The Maintenance AM is primarily responsible for real time analysis and assisting in the coordination and balancing of DC Maintenance operations. This role assists in the balancing of man power for all areas, assigns maintenance tasks for all Maintenance employees, and supports the Warehouse Operations Manager to ensure all tasks flow smoothly for the Maintenance crew. The Maintenance AM accurately records and reports the repair of all BLDG and equipment; supports the Warehouse Operations Manager to ensure all End of Day (EOD) tasks are completed, and assists in discipline and payroll maintenance. This position reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Create balanced work schedule for Maintenance staff
- Coordinate work teams for best use
- Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Provides administrative support for the Warehouse Operations Manager
- Develops and maintains working knowledge and understanding of all systems
- Communicates with outside vendors and coordinates work schedules as needed
- Performs additional duties as assigned
- Decision Making Responsibilities:
- Under direct supervision of the Warehouse Operations Manage, work is performed within standard policies and procedures with opportunity for un-reviewed decision-making
- Financial Responsibilities:
- This position does not have any direct financial responsibilities
- Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position does have direct supervisory responsibilities; provides information, guidance and support to Maintenance staff
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse atmosphere
- 2 years’ of experience in a similar role
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and SAP
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Must be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends, Holidays and evenings
Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:
Starting at $66,000-$83,000 based on experience!
