Laboratory Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician at our Indianapolis, IN location.

This position supports the Packaging (PKG) team by working closely with Packaging Scientists and Engineers on packaging studies, testing activities, and process improvement initiatives. The role also assists with the technical characterization of formulations and packaging components to support product development and commercialization.

What You’ll Do:

• Support packaging and storage stability studies, including pack screening, coupon testing, oxygen scavenging, and CO₂ evaluation activities.
• Conduct sample pulls, collect measurements, document observations, and verify results following testing activities.
• Assist with package performance testing, including vacuum resistance and hydrostatic testing.
• Accurately collect, analyze, and document experimental data, results, and laboratory observations.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks and ensure quality documentation in compliance with established procedures.
• Support the maintenance, calibration, and organization of laboratory equipment and testing instruments.
• Assist with data management, system updates, and the development of reports and dashboards to support business decisions.
• Support product launches by developing package specifications and packaging instruction documentation.
• Assist with investigations related to packaging quality issues and manufacturing or supply chain requests.
• Coordinate packaging sample shipments and inventory of packaging components.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, product integrity, quality, and environmental stewardship in all activities.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
