CFO (f/m/d) @ A1 Digital

Location: Vienna or Munich (hybrid)

As CFO of A1 Digital, you will report to the A1 Digital CEO and be responsible for the financial direction and performance of A1 Digital International GmbH & Co KG, A1 Digital Deutschland GmbH, A1 Digital Spain S.L. and Akenes SA. Your scope includes planning and analysis, reporting, audits, compliance, banking, logistics, procurement and facilities management.

You will work closely with the A1 Digital CEO and the Group Finance Director and be part of the A1 Digital Leadership Team. You will lead a Finance team of around 15 people across Austria, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. This role offers plenty of room to shape the business and is a great fit for someone who thinks strategically, understands the commercial side and also likes to get things done.

Your Responsibilites:

• Take on the role of Managing Director for A1 Digital International GmbH & Co KG and A1 Digital Deutschland GmbH, and join the Supervisory Board of Akenes SA, with the related legal and governance responsibilities
• Lead the Finance team and take ownership of financial performance and the P&L
• Oversee Finance and Operations, including Accounting, Controlling, Revenue Assurance, Customer Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics and Internal Audit
• Put clear financial controls in place, reduce risk and improve working capital
• Lead reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business planning
• Be a trusted and active member of the leadership team
• Build strong relationships with colleagues, shareholders and external partners
• Review growth opportunities and help turn them into sound business decisions
• Give the Board clear commercial and financial insights
• Manage financial controls, cash flow, banking relationships and the balance sheet
• Keep a close eye on costs and liquidity to support the company’s financial stability
• Meet Group and local requirements and provide shareholders with clear, accurate and timely reporting
• Make sure all financial statements and regulatory reports are correct, complete and delivered on time
• Use data and insights to support better and faster decisions
• Simplify the finance systems landscape and introduce modern tools and solutions

Your Profile:

• You have strong 10+ years of experience in a finance management role 
• Prior experience as Finance Director or CFO preferably in a technology, production and/or B2C/B2B related business will be consider advantage
• A university degree; MBA or similar qualification
• A strong interest in technology, automation and digital tools, and the ability to improve finance systems and processes
• Solid experience across Finance and Operations, including accounting, controlling, procurement, negotiations, logistics, liquidity management and compliance
• Good business judgment, strategic thinking and a clear focus on profitable growth
• A practical business mindset and the confidence to work with and challenge the Board when needed
• Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach
• A positive, practical and solution-focused way of working
• Experience in building and developing strong teams
• Clear and confident communication and presentation skills
• Fluent German and English; French and/or Spanish are a plus

Our performance-based-salary models reward extraordinary commitment and success. The minimum annual gross salary is EUR 84.826,00. The actual annual salary depends on your skills and experience.
