Role Summary
Responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of retail spaces, fostering strong tenant relations, and enhancing the customer shopping experience. This role requires strategic leadership to drive performance improvements and contribute to business objectives, making it a key position in maintaining a competitive and attractive retail environment.
Key Outcomes
- Retail Operations Oversight - Ensures seamless operation of retail spaces, meeting performance standards and operational efficiency.
- Tenant Relationship Management - Develops and implements strategies to enhance tenant engagement and satisfaction.
- Customer Experience Enhancement - Leads initiatives to improve the shopping experience, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Retail Performance Optimization - Identifies and executes strategies to increase retail performance, including sales and foot traffic.
- Strategic Planning & Reporting - Monitors operational metrics and develops strategies to align retail goals with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations Leadership
- Oversee retail space operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with various teams to maintain safety, security, cleanliness, and overall retail standards.
- Identify and resolve operational issues to prevent disruptions.
Tenant Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenant concerns and provide timely solutions.
- Negotiate and execute lease agreements and ensure compliance with lease terms.
Retail Environment Optimization
- Work on enhancing store layouts, signage, and facilities to create an appealing shopping environment.
- Ensure that retail spaces are well-maintained and equipped with necessary amenities.
- Regularly assess the security and safety of the retail environment.
Customer Service & Experience Enhancement
- Implement and oversee service excellence programs to enhance customer experience.
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure that customer engagement is optimized.
Performance Tracking & Strategy Development
- Monitor tenant performance and sales data to identify areas for improvement.
- Use market research and sales relevant data to develop strategies that improve foot traffic and sales.
- Report on retail performance metrics and provide insights to senior management such as tenant sales performance, foot traffic and collection.

Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related fields
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in retail operations, facilities management, or tenant relations, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage large retail spaces and oversee tenant relations.
