Description
Mildred Mitchell-Bateman Hospital is searching for a dedicated Accounting Specialist to be a part of our amazing team!
This position ensures that all accounts payable transactions are completed in a timely manner according to state regulations, especially procurement regulations for a 110 bed Joint Commission, CMS certified Psychiatric Hospital. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Audit, research and code invoices ensuring accuracy and completeness prior to entry in the WV OASIS system for payment. This position is responsible for entering completed invoices in the system for payment and maintaining various transmittal logs for invoices, including the diversion payment log.This is a tobacco free facility. Chosen applicants must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in Agency and Bureau policies. Must be able to work on holidays and weekends. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position. Candidate must successfully pass a background screening.

Experience: | Two (2) years of full time or equivalent part time clerical, bookkeeping, accounting, auditing, budgeting, finance, or related experience. |
