## Position Details

• __Start Date:__ Immediate, upon completion of recruitment and onboarding
• __Location:__ 100% remote — must be based in South Africa
• __Students:__ Young learners aged 4–16, based in China, proficiency A1–C1
• __Class Type:__ One-on-one and one-on-two (max two learners per class)
• __Language of Instruction:__ English
• __Platform:__ ClassIn
• __Rate:__ US$6.50 per hour
• __Class Duration:__ 25 minutes (regular); 21–25 minutes (demo)
• __Contract Type:__ Independent Contractor (remote)
• __Hours:__ Minimum 14 hours per week, within the teaching window of __12:00–15:30 SAST (18:00–21:30 BJT), Monday to Sunday.__ You decide how to spread your hours — up to a maximum of six days a week.
• __Bookings:__ Hours run on student bookings rather than fixed guaranteed hours. Reliable teachers with regular students tend to build steady, recurring schedules.

__Requirements__

• Completed National Diploma (tertiary) in any field
• Accredited 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent certification
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience
• Clear, effective spoken English
• A consistent weekly availability you can genuinely commit to — this client values a stable schedule, not week-to-week chopping and changing
