THE JOB:

As a Food Runner for Bavette's Steakhouse at Park MGM, you will serve as the vital link between our masterful culinary team and our sultry, jazz-infused dining room, helping to deliver a flawless fine-dining experience. You will do far more than deliver our premium steaks and French-inspired dishes; you will elevate the guest journey by articulately describing each exquisite plate in rich detail and answering questions with polished expertise. Working in seamless rhythm with your service team to ensure prompt, courteous, and perfectly timed tableside care, you will help preserve the sophisticated, speakeasy atmosphere while creating unforgettable, world-class memories that define our premier hospitality.

THE STARTING RATE: $16.2956 Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome

• Expedite food from the kitchen to the table as dictated by sequence of service and by the Chef or kitchen expediter

• Describe food upon placement on the table, answering questions pertaining to the dishes

• Describe menu features as needed (include changes and additions)

• Communicate with expediter to ensure delivery of food to the correct table and position

• Perform assigned open and closing side-work

• Communicate needs of the guest to kitchen management, inform management of guest reaction and comments and assist management to ensure smooth operation and quality service

• Check dining area, tables and chairs for cleanliness, maintain cleanliness and organization of station and service area

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• 1+ years of Prior Relevant Experience in a high-volume dining restaurant as a Food Runner or Server preferred

• Previous experience in a Fine Dining restaurant preferred
