Description
Schedule:
- Weekdays: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Weekends: Saturday and/or Sunday
- 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM or
- 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Greet residents, families, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
- Monitor facility entrance and assist with visitor sign-in procedures.
- Handle resident trust/patient funds accurately, including deposits and withdrawals.
- Provide clerical support, including copying, and data entry.
- Assist residents and families with general inquiries.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with nursing, administrative, and other department staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous receptionist, customer service, cashier, or administrative experience preferred.
- Experience handling cash or financial transactions is preferred.
- Strong computer and telephone skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Long-term care or healthcare experience is a plus.
