Senior Engineer System Engineering

Provide 2nd level support (including 24x7 rotational on call), solution administration, system maintenance, monitoring and operation to meet customer SLA / targets.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Provide 2nd level support (including 24x7 rotational on call), solution administration, system maintenance, monitoring and operation to meet customer SLA / targets.

• Implement service request and changes to fulfil user and customer needs.

• Lead problem management for pro-active management of DMS services, evaluate and deploy new measures/ solution to achieve improvements in performance, functionality, availability and cost effectiveness

• Defining and setup effective systems faulty detection and monitoring for early pro-active failure detection for system stability

• Perform user requirement gathering, UAT (including test cases creation, test environment setup)

• Collaborate and coordinate with all stakeholders to plan and schedule deployment of system releases strategically (combine downtime, minimum production interruptions)

• Execute software and technologies refresh activities

• Undertake change & release management for IT services/ software deployment cycle

• Contribute to EPIC / User stories which related or dependencies to operational support

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Min. Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering or similar.
• Min 3-4 years’ experience in solution focusing on manufacturing execution system.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge in data transfer, file processing methodology, system interfaces/ integration
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work both independently and a good team player.
• Sound knowledge and skills dealing with application service operation (incident, problem, event and release management).
• High analytical and independent problem solving skills to approach new challenges
• Hands-on experience in database system (e.g. Oracle, MS-SQL, Hadoop) & Linux
• Programming knowledge in C#.net, scripting, Python, Java, Oracle PL / SQL
• Knowledge on Kubernetes, S3 and Tableau product will be added advantage
• Good knowledge in Agile methodology is an advantage
