Title: CEO
Location: Haimen, China
Role Overview
The CEO will lead the company through its next phase of global growth, owning full P&L and setting corporate strategy across product innovation, manufacturing scale, and international market expansion. You'll balance the agility of a focused industrial business with the operational excellence expected by global mining and construction clients. This role reports to the Board/Investors and leads a cross-functional exec team spanning R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Growth
Define and execute 3-5 year vision to grow market share in mineral processing equipment globally
Drive product strategy: expand complete production line offerings and lead R&D in automation, wear parts, and remote monitoring
Evaluate M&A, JVs, and strategic partnerships to strengthen global coverage
Own entry into adjacent verticals: recycling, construction debris, or battery minerals processing
2. Commercial & Operations Leadership
Scale global sales organization and distributor network; ensure responsive service and reduced downtime for clients
Oversee Asia-based manufacturing facility and US HQ operations, ensuring quality, safety, on-time delivery, and cost leadership
Drive operational KPIs: gross margin, inventory turns, lead times, and aftermarket/spare parts revenue
Champion engineered-to-order approach for site-specific plant solutions and complete project execution
3. Team & Culture
Build and lead a high-performing international leadership team across engineering, production, sales, and service
Foster culture blending entrepreneurial agility with enterprise-grade safety and quality standards
Attract, retain, and develop top technical talent in mechanical design, mineral processing, and field service
Serve as external face of the company with key customers, investors, and industry forums
4. Financial & Governance
Own full P&L, budgeting, and capital allocation across CAPEX, R&D, and capacity expansion
Ensure regulatory compliance, ESG standards, and operational safety across global sites
Report to Board on performance, risks, and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
15+ years senior leadership in industrial equipment, mining machinery, mineral processing, or heavy manufacturing
P&L ownership for $100M+ global business with manufacturing + distribution footprint
Proven track record scaling engineering-led B2B equipment businesses in China + international markets
Deep understanding of crushing/screening equipment, aggregate plants, or mineral processing flowsheets
Experience managing China-based manufacturing and US/global sales organizations
Strong commercial acumen: pricing, contracts, large CAPEX project sales, and aftermarket strategy
Fluent English; Mandarin proficiency strongly preferred
Preferred:
Engineering background — Mechanical, Mining, or Metallurgy degree; MBA a plus
Experience with PE-owned or founder-led industrial companies through growth/transition
Network in global mining, aggregates, cement, or construction materials sectors
Familiarity with automation, IoT/remote monitoring, and digital services in heavy equipment
