Description
A well-established, high-growth upscale casual restaurant group to identify an experienced General Manager for one of their locations near Austin, TX. This is a confidential search on behalf of a respected, hospitality-driven brand known for its polished yet approachable dining experience, strong culinary standards, and commitment to team culture.
Position Overview
The General Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of restaurant operations, driving financial performance, and cultivating a high-performing team. This individual will be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring excellence in service, food quality, and overall guest satisfaction
- Lead, coach, and develop management and hourly team members
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining strong cost controls (labor, food, and beverage)
- Analyze financial performance, including P&L management and forecasting
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven culture
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and local market opportunities
Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of experience as a General Manager or senior leader in upscale casual or polished dining
- High volume experience of $5M+ annual revenue
- Proven track record of strong financial performance and team leadership
- High-level understanding of P&L, labor management, and operational metrics
- Passion for hospitality and delivering elevated guest experiences
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead by example and build strong team engagement
- Ability to commute or relocate to the Austin, TX area
Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000 base (commensurate with experience), Comprehensive Health Benefits, 401k, PTO, Dining Discounts, and much more!
